Plant Description

The Ibizan Farmhouse Starter Collection is a stylish Mediterranean-inspired planting scheme featuring olives, cordylines, lavender, blue grasses, agapanthus, star jasmine, rosemary and evergreen carex. With plants such as Olea europaea, Cordyline 'Lime Passion', Cordyline 'Red Star', Lavender 'Hidcote', Festuca glauca 'Intense Blue', Agapanthus 'Fireworks', Trachelospermum jasminoides Star of Milano and Rosemary, this collection is ideal for creating a relaxed, sun-soaked courtyard or contemporary farmhouse garden look.

Perfect for patios, gravel gardens, raised beds, courtyard spaces and sunny UK gardens, this Mediterranean garden collection combines architectural foliage, silver-blue tones, fragrant herbs and long-lasting flowers. Olives and cordylines provide structure and evergreen impact, while lavender, rosemary and star jasmine add scent and seasonal interest. Agapanthus, festuca and carex bring texture, movement and colour, making this collection well suited to low-maintenance, coastal-style and modern outdoor spaces.

Supplied as a curated starter collection in mixed pot sizes, this set is a practical way to create an Ibizan farmhouse garden feel in containers, borders or sunny seating areas.

Planting & Aftercare

Choose a pot with drainage holes slightly larger than the nursery pot. Use well-draining potting mix. Place the plant at the same depth it was in the original pot. Water thoroughly after planting.
Water when the top 2-3cm of soil feels dry. In spring and summer, this is typically once a week. Reduce watering in autumn and winter. Always check the soil before watering to avoid overwatering.
Overwatering is the most common issue. Avoid placing in direct sunlight which can scorch leaves. Don't repot too frequently - most plants prefer to be slightly root-bound. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring to early autumn). Reduce or stop feeding in winter when growth naturally slows.
